About

Culver's is a fast-food chain that specializes in frozen custard and their signature burgers made with Midwest beef and dairy. The burgers are flavorful and tasty, although some may find them a bit pricey, especially the double bacon burger which costs $7. The cheese curds have a thicker batter than usual but are still quite enjoyable. While the fish sandwich is delicious, it tends to be on the smaller side.

Why you should go

    1

  1. Try the famous butter burger that doesn't taste like typical fast food.
  2. 2

  3. Experience the squeaky Wisconsin cheese curds and delicious fish sandwich.
  4. 3

  5. Enjoy unique offerings like pot roast sandwich and gluten-free bun.

The burgers are delicious. I don't love paying $7 for a double bacon burger tough. The Cheese curds are a thicker batter than I like but still pretty good. Fish sandwich is tasty but small. Overall a good option if you don't mind paying a little more for quality.

My Granddaughter and I visited this store today around 5:30. It was not busy, but we sat there for awhile waiting for our food. When we finally got it, both sandwiches were stone cold and the fries were barely warm. The guy that brought us our food went past us once and finally on his second time around, brought it to us. We will not be eating there again.

This Culver's has been in this very spot since at least the 90s. My family has particularly enjoyed their fried chicken many times over the years. Personally, I like their burgers, which was my own personal motivation for this particular visit. The space really hasn't changed much over the years. There's a long counter with three registers up front. The wait to order was not long - I waited for one group ahead of me to finish ordering, then placed my order with the next cashier. After doing so, I filled my soda glass and found a suitable booth and sat down to wait for my meal. For the 2-3 minutes it took to receive my food, I pondered the space itself. Little things have changed in the years since I dined in the space itself. There are multiple layers of drop ceiling present, artistically layered upon each other within curved boarders. The central dining area has a prominently displayed mirror now, flanked on either side by frosted glass features. The carpet appears to be about the only thing unchanged. It may have been replaced at a certain point, but it's still the same nondescript dark patterned carpet as I remember. This is something unique to Culver's and a feature I don't especially understand in particular. It seems with the amount of people that accidentally spill a soda or ketchup or something similar, this would be much harder to clean than a tiled or other similar flat surface. At any rate, the dining room looks like a dining room at a Culver's - nothing to complain about here.I soon got my double butter burger and fries and consumed both. The crinkle cut fries tasted exactly like the fries from pretty much any other visit - they had their characteristic crunchy exterior and fluffy interior, much like crinkle cut fries from any other place offering them. The burger was also good - two smashed patties that were still juicy, yet still had plenty of crispy bits throughout their surface. All in all - it was a good, fast meal, exactly what I would expect of this or any other Culver's.This particular Culver's is pretty far from my home, as I most often visit the one on Spruce Hills Drive in Bettendorf. Still it was nice to visit this location again and if I were in the Jersey Ridge Road area again, I would not hesitate to come back. It's a Culver's, largely clean throughout the interior with fast and friendly staff. Thanks for the good burger!

We gathered reviews from Google and Tripadvisor, and summarized helpful tips as well as commonly mentioned things others might find useful.

  1. Visit during off-peak hours to avoid long wait times or cold food issues.
  2. Consider trying lesser-known items like the pot roast sandwich for a different experience.
  3. Check if your order matches what you requested as there have been instances of incorrect condiments being used on burgers.
  4. If visiting during inclement weather, ensure your order is correct before leaving as returning might be inconvenient.

Took them 30 minutes to bring us our food. 4 meals. All of our burgers and fries were cold. My fries would have been warmer left in my truck in this record breaking heat wave today. We weren't the only ones with issues. A lady in the drive through waited over 30 minutes for her ice cream. And a couple that came in after us got questioned on whether not they ordered something and didn't get it. Multiple people told them they needed lids out. Which in the 45 minutes we were there, nobody put out. When bringing out food or when employees got asked for help they were very nonchalant. When you have that many people unhappy, you need to be at least a little bit quick in a response.

I enjoy the food it's reasonably priced. However, I love their fries. Unfortunately, the last 2 times have been there. The I ordered a large fry in the bag. It's half full, This has happened more than once. What a disappointment?
