Highlight Film Review:“Blanchette” is a O-lineman who was positioned as a guard. His films shows the ability to pull and run in space and hit moving targets. Has a comfortable bend and can get both feet in the ground at presnap. He plays with good pad level while using leverage to sustain and hold his block. Appears to be effective in getting in position to pass pro, punch and anchor in place. He has Size: length, lower body frame, hip width, and growth potential.

He has clips of him as a running back, inside linebacker, and outside linebacker. He is an aggressive athlete who plays with outstanding field awareness. He looks to punish ball carriers when he tackles. He is willing to block for the ball carrier when he is on offense and leading downfield. He gives an obvious, consistent effort that pops on film.

He plays downhill and flashes skills to maintain gap integrity. He is very physical and reacts quickly and fluidly to inside and outside run. Has an obvious burst of speed when he reacts to the outside run. He takesn proper angle pursuits when tracking the ball carrier outside the tackles. He is an active player that’s constantly around the ball. Knocks blockers and ball-carriers backward on impact.

He has decent bend and comes off the ball with very low pad level. He displays a strong ability to beat HS offensive linemen. I can see a solid get-off. Flashes the ability to win at the line of scrimmage. I can see decent footwork and initial punch to keep separation from offensive linemen. He shows ability to get off blocks and create havoc on ball carriers. He gives a consistent aggressive effort in each clip.
