Kpop and music in general is built off payola. Every artist and every group does it. Yes, I mean EVERYONE. Complaining about it when it's a group you don't like is just jealousy and bitterness. Is it illegal? Yes. Is it common? Absolutely.
Just to clarify: I'm not here to justify it or say it's right or wrong. Just calling kpop stans out for their chronic need to hate

Brand reputation rankings are totally meaningless
Koreans do not really know 80% of the songs on top 100, they just play them at random because they are lazy and don't care enough for music to bother searching new songs
Idols do not know how to sing live anymore, kpop fans in other hand do not know what singing live actually is

Now the most controversial of all, deserve its own post
During 3rd gen people were much more vocal about Big3 privilege, but back them the situation was actually not as unfair as it is today. The only successful groups coming from non big 4 is Ive, and only because it's a group derivated from iZone, otherwise they would be nugu.
In past, big 3 privilege was used in every thread, article or discussion about any big 3 idols. Nowadays anyone barely talks about Big4 privilege. This implies that the only relevant fandoms are from Big4. Fandoms from smaller companies groups are not big enough to control narratives or to direct discussions i.e. groups from smaller companies now are just irrelevant and without enough fans to protect them and attack Big4 fandoms.
Big4 stans fight only among themselves.

online knet discourse doesn't mean sh*t in 2023, outside of a massive criminal scandal. otherwise, its essentially as impactful as youtube comments

Heya, so I understand you're trying to grow your channel, but if you're exclusively only interacting when promoting your channel, that will become an issue. You can share your stuff but you also need to be interactive on the site for what it's meant for.

Some companies (as for example TOP MEDIA, MLD,...) are very sh*t in menaging their groups

But non big 3 fandoms were not big even back in 3rd gen
It was most likely BTS fans talking about big 3 privilege...

What you meant to say (but were afraid to say) is Blackpink would be bigger than BTS if they released like their peers. That’s the only group they are behind unless you are also counting Seventeen based on album sales.
Sure, they would be bigger than BTS

K-pop idols should try to be a little more real I get doing it as rookies but at some point they have to grow out of it and be comfortable in front of the camera
I think the audience can sense it when someone bs too much or is trying to act too much for the camera

'super' by seventeen sounds like a bts song, I swear those guys are slowly morphing into bts with every comeback

Does kpop stan's opinion is their own opinion?
Are you sure you didn't parroting the other who said so?
You sure no one steered your mind into hating a group?
Do you even hate that group?
Or do you hate their fandom or their company?
Or are you sure that your hatred stems from other people?
Are you sure it is not because of your own ego and obsession?
Unpopular opinion: kpop stans need to have a self reflection at least one session per day.

like 70% of angst in kpop is down to translation issues, mostly:
- stuff not translating from Korean, either linguistically or culturally
- stuff not translating in/out of English, with lots of people trying to join the discourse in their second/third language. Leads to LOTS of communication breakdown. Poor twitter auto-translation doesn't help.
edit: the secondary effect is that too much power is concentrated with those who translate to large audiences. Lots of scope to translate with ulterior motives
